GO HERE TO DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE: [link]So I am trying my hand to see if I can inspire a project to help provide more reference resources for artists here on DA.
My wishful thinking is, we have a million glamour shots and wistful looking beauties here on DA, but for the cartoon artist we rely on our own reflection to capture the melodrama and nuances of expressions. It would be very interesting to see individuals with their unique and expressive faces run the gamut of human emotion and help us learn how to draw others better!
So here is my contribution to the project. My aim was to make sure the muscles, fat, and planes of my face were exagerated, so no makeup and and minimal photoshop touchup (zit on neck that won't DIE!)
I hope you find my expressions helpful, feel free to download the print quality jpeg for your own reference. All I ask is that you don't use any of these pictures when I commit a crime or if I go missing.
note to self: Wear lipstick for black and white photography. 0_0

I think my favorite part of this is you not only clearly express the emotion, but you also give a wide array of angles: something that plagues EVERYONE.
