This is my second submission for 's OC design contest. Going for the sexy, tough, tribal-esque, pirate themes that she requested. Details are listed in the order they appear on Talon from top to bottom. I encourage you all to enter soon because tonight is the deadline!

General History (again, you're free to alter anything you want Kayla)

Talon was born to a very poor family in a small village, on a crescent-shaped isle within the Aegean Sea. Unlike his parents and siblings he was born with deep turquoise eyes. This made everyone in his village believe his destiny was out at sea. The boy learned to swim before he could even walk and by the age of four he was out in the ocean hauling in fishing nets with his father. In spite of their humble lifestyle, Talon loved every minute he spent in the village. He adored his parents and he was content with their home.

However his older sister Ashe was his biggest hero, and like her he eventually longed to be free of the tiny shore to go explore deeper waters. On the eve of his sixteenth birthday his wish was granted. Ashe had procured a small carrier vessel with her life's savings. She begged her parents to let her go to sea and make a better living for their family, but they weren't having it. So in the dead of night she ran away from home and headed out to the docks. Talon followed her, and after a short argument she agreed to let him come and be her first mate.

Life on their own was difficult but they scraped by with the help of Ashe's sharp mind and silver tongue, coupled with his own talent for hunting and fishing. It wasn't until his sister was robbed at port by a group of cutthroats that they decided to turn to piracy. Talon tracked those men down to their pirate ship, and like all the fish he caught over the years, he gutted them easily. Ashe discovered him in the cove surrounded by dead bodies and knew there was only one choice. They sold the carrier vessel, used the money to hire a crew of poor men with nothing to lose, and set out to plunder in their new ship.

His sister named it The Golden Crescent, in honor of their village on the crescent isle and all the gold they would soon bring to it and their family. The crew took on the same name and they eventually grew in infamy. Starting with small merchant ships and working their way up to royal navy vessels, this rag tag band soon became filthy rich. Talon is of course a loyal first mate to his sister, and has kept the crew in line with his growing fierceness. He earned the nickname Talon the Tiger, when he took an entire ship on his own in the dead of night; hunting with the power and grace of a great cat.

He's not sure if his mother and father would be proud of all that he has done, but as long as they're happy and taken care of he doesn't need their pride or approval. He started out as a humble fisherman and has since become one of the most ferocious and feared pirates in the Meditteranean.

A little fish with a will of fire,
that left the pond and became a tiger.
