Description After Malak  , here comes his former master, the dark revenge of the Sith, Revan.
Both turned to the dark side by the fear they felt from experiencing the strength of the Dark Emperor of the Sith and returned to Jedi Space to unleash destruction and chaos.

Well that was Malak's goal. Revan was a lot more cerebral in his thinking, wanting to take over and reform the Republic as a military power to combat the Emperor. Given the nature of the Dark Side however, neither where the same good intention'ed, Knights anymore. Revan was just a lot more practical in his ruthlessness.

Just look at his apprentice's jawline for proof, oh wait you can't.

Truth is designing Revan as a strategist didn't impact on gameplay while givin the character some stature. At the same time, it made Malak a dumber yet much more powerful adversary in straight combat..
I dunno but maybe that jawline is what made him so powerful cause with the strength he's got during that final boss battle, Revan could never have harmed him in any way...
That said, within SW simplistic universe, one can always tell which Jedi is gonna eventually turn dark.. and reading the comic book, one can see very early that Malak's no good.. Jealousy, Envy, Anger, Frustration... he's got them all while still a rookie! I dunno if he ever was well 'intention' ed'..
