Anything I missed? No? Great, I'll throw it in one of the logs. Oh, we're almost in Ponyville. Oh yeah, before you go, I should probably give you a tip. That medicine I told you about's called 'Snorestopper.' Should slow down the sleepcasting."

What happens when a Unicorn is born in Cloudsdale? The parents don't live in Cloudsdale much longer. In the case of Boxtop and Cloudy Sky, this was something they had been planning on for a while. Three days after Dusty Tome was born the pair was ready to move, and took their little business to the nearby city of Manehattan. Her big brother, three at the time, was only slightly sad to be leaving Cloudsdale. The new big sister and an entire city to explore more than made up for it.

Dusty Tome's foalhood was similiar to her brother's, though she was less of a fan of going on deliveries. At first she resisted the travels, though that changed the day that her father took a detour over the Everfree. He took her to a small ruined hut on the western edge of the forest, which he had discovered a few years prior on a similiar delivery. He let her explore, pretending the entire time that he'd never seen the place before. The next time he had a delivery, she was begging to go. Of course, her passions spread beyond just exploring. As a filly her mom would always read the pair a story before bed, though her tastes in bedtime stories were a bit different than some other parents. Where most fillies heard "The Littlest Princess" and "Legend of the Sea Ponies," she heard stories like "The Gypsy Bard" and "Equestrian Wanders."

When she and her brother went exploring, she was the one who wrote most of the logs. While her brother drew their hoofmade maps and made notes for weathercrafting, she drew sketches of the enviroments and plants. All the notes on magical plants and engravings are her's. She's actually the one who goes over the log books they make and turns them into a coherent whole. When she's not working on her own books, you can usually find her in one of the many libraries in Manehattan looking for leads into new places to discover or just enjoying a book at one of the small cafes downtown. Not much seems to bother her, though she's extremely inexperienced in the realms of love and doesn't handle not knowing what's going on very well. Her curiosity has been called both a virtue and a vice by many, though she prefers to consider it a good point. Though don't point out her size. She's still sensitive about being short even for a mare, poking at it tends to get her angrier than most things. Except destroying knowledge or killing without cause. Those two things are the fastest ways to get her to hurt you.

She isn't particularly skilled with magic, though her extensive use of telekinesis has given her a deep understanding of it's uses. As such she's better than most with both fine manipulation and heavy lifting, though she still has pretty clear limits. The biggest thing she's lifted is her bed one time when she thought somepony was breaking in, and that dropped her after a few minutes. Her actual pool of magical energy is smaller than average, but she does know a decent variety of spells. Her favorite non-telekinesis spell being a line of sight teleport spell she learned after two months of study. Besides those, she doesn't have too many spells. Some minor utility ones like animating a pen to accept dictation, a letter sending spell with a slight margin of error of about thirty percent, and a simple force shield. She doesn't learn spells very easily, and so often has to work hard to learn new ones, though she tends to remember them once she has. She is getting stronger though with time and practice, though don't expect her to pick up an Ursa Minor.

Her Cutie Mark is an inverted blue and teal quill, the story of how she got it on her brother's page. What she's done with that talent though goes beyond just writing adventure books and publishing logbooks. She's dabbled in multiple genres over the years, writing everything from bed time stories to, and she'll never admit this, a saucy romance novel. Not too well known yet, she's starting to get a bit of a following among travelers and explorers. Is actually working on a "Guidebook to Equestria" that she plans to be a general resource to ponies traveling through Equestria, such as what foods are safe to eat and where to find shelter. Other parts of the guidebook, and the ones that are giving her the most trouble, include 'how to make travelling friends' and 'how to cure an Overcasting Hangover."

Edit: Yeah, I forgot to mention a few things. First off, she uses the Sisterhood Rule calender, which is one 2862 on NMM's return. The normal Celestial Rule calender is on year 1000 on the same date, sorry if that mixed anyone up. Secondly, she's the main character of the Searching for Thrace series that rykubloodwing.deviantart.com/ and I are working on. Besides that, not much really to add that isn't spoilers or can probably be figured out easily enough. If anyone has questions, feel free to ask down below, I promise I don't bite.
