Description Legend tells of a place where the line between this world and the afterlife has frayed, a realm of creatures not quite alive yet clearly dead. Within this land there is said that one creature lives, bound between life and death. The legends claim that his hatred for all the living binds them to life so their suffering becomes neverending. It is true, many who have returned alive claim that those so cursed have their minds overcome by rage and pain. However others claim sympathy for the one so bound, wishing to free it from it's burden. Never the less, many search for this fabled land of undeath. Those who go call the creature many names: Equestrians know it as the dragon Nidhogg, The Last of the Dead. Zebras fear it as the Starborne patron of demise Algol. Necromancers seek it as Master, told to be the origin of Necromancy. The legend is spread far, it's names aplenty, but all agree on one sole fact: Those who search out death will not find it, death shall find them. So seek, adventurers of the lands and sky: Seek death beyond life and life through death. For only those who know Death's embrace shall find what they desire.

That's so awesome!! I love the little backstory intro! I feel sorry for the dragon, though, I hope he can be happy in the end. Are you going to write a story for this?! Please say yes!

I may. Thing is, I kind of designed Nidhogg's story with the campaign I was running in mind. They haven't run into Nidhogg, and I get the feeling they may not need to. Oh, and before I forget: There's some heavy Dark Souls influence in there, and the basic idea of the curse came from the Fallout is Dragons tabletop RPG campaign. Youtube it, it's hilarious. Though one of the things with dragons is, when you live that long your personality can become nearly... alien. Don't worry though, I've got some fun twists in mind for him, including one that may turn expectations on their heads.

Though if the party doesn't ever head there, I may do some work with him and the area around him. It's really a kinda interesting place, you won't find anywhere else in the world where a town full of zombies can actually exist. If you'd like, I could put it on my list of "things to throw some time/inspiration at." You know, once I finish Dark Souls 2. Bloody hard game.

Speaking of stories, I actually finished writing a short one today. I'll be posting it once the cover art's done, though I warn you it's more depressing than Aimless. And by that I mean the feels will be RIPPED FROM YOUR BODY if it has the same impact on others as it did the person I let read it early. So yeah, look forward to that.

Hmm... I could do some more like this, if you guys would like. Might add it to my commission list: Legends or something. I seem to write a lot of them.

Oh no! I wanna read so bad but I dont want to be depressed, but I'll bet it's really good so I don't want to miss out! I guess I'll just have to have a box of tissues next to me. I look forward to it!
