I love the conception and the hair is done very well, but there is a couple of errors in execution. There should be no dark cast shadow for the butterflys. It's inaccurate. A dark cast shadow like that means that the butterflys are up close to something, and it's taking the spacial sense away from your background. Yet, that cast shadow is inconsistant. If the butterflys have it, shouldn't the girl? But if she did, the entire background will look flat.
Also, the butterflys are too bright compaired to the figure and they look fake, or at the least, out of place. Sorry if I seem too rough.

To be honest, I didn't even realize there were shadows behind the butterflies until you mentioned it. I didn't intentionally put them there. The butterflies are picture tubes from PSP and the more I think about it I guess those tubes have shadows behind them. Yes, I agree they're a little bright. I did think about that before and I should have faded them a little, but unfortunately I didn't.

Need about a billion butterflies to hold me up! lol Really nicely executed. I have seen a few more in this area, I'm guessing being done for the same contest, this is really unique among the many. Nicely done.
