Hey, guys! I don’t usually put anything important in my descriptions, but I figured this one would be something all my watchers would like to see. All of you know Cipher, the white cat I’ll never stop drawing whom all of you are probably sick of by now. ) Anyway, when I first created and designed her, I had no idea what her actual story was going to be since it can take so many different routes and end up at a lot of different points; all I knew was Bill was going to be involved since the idea of putting a character with a warm heart into a situation filled with betrayal sounded very interesting. I never wanted him to be a HUGE part of it, but still an important piece. However, I realized Bill had to be in it frequently in order to gain her trust and give her the telekinetic powers. Therefore, I created Koaaren, a character who would make her stumble into unusual emotional territory and help her question what she’s doing, and also break up the repetitive interactions with Bill. I did this mostly because I didn’t want Cipher to be one of those "edgy," or "cringy," OCs that are thrown into a fandom universes with no real backstory just to gain followers and end up having underdeveloped relationships with the characters. Another thing I'd like to mention is I don't exactly see her being in the actual universe where Gravity Falls takes place since it makes no sense. She simply wouldn't fit in due to the show's story already being amazing without any additions. I guess you could see it as a different dimension where none of that happens, and Bill's coming through just to wreck havoc and have fun. I don’t want to spoil too much of it if I potentially make this a full-on story, which leads to what I’ve been meaning to ask you guys. Should I “write” this? Not write in words, mostly due to my little confidence in literacy, but also because I think telling the story through pictures could be a bit more interesting. Not exactly a comic since it shouldn't be broken into panels very often, but it will have speech bubbles to help the reader understand what’s happening and have other comic-like things. I also have a nasty habit of starting a big project like this then later give up and lose motivation, so I would love to have your guys’ help! The story shouldn’t take much longer to develop since it’s shorter than most, I just need to fix several flaws with it (predictability being one of them...). It also shouldn’t take very long to draw out, I could even get it all done in a few months or so, but no promises! I don't even know if it's a guarantee I'll do it. I will still do silly art, MAP parts, speedpaints and (after I fix up my commission prices) commissions between each part. Tips and tricks to tell the story or stay motivated are much appreciated as well as insight on if you actually want this to happen.
