Originality is overrated. Everything is a copy of a copy of a copy anyway~
But this is a little different from your usual work. I like it~ The way the background seems to bleed through him almost makes it like he's incomplete [makes me think of symbolism] or like he's missing something.

Sometimes experimenting with new techniques leads to some of the best results, aye? I tried something similar to this once, but it didn't come out the way i wanted it to.
It was just a random thought i had as i was admiring it. Every once in a while I'll look at symbols/elements in art and try to make different meanings of them. Every work of art can tell a story if you figure out how to read it right.
