Hi, your picture "captives" is already featured on my journal, which you have approved, however, It was too far down the page and I wanted it more eye level, but I don't know how to move it upwards expect by having the related thumb and number as I am a bit dippy like that. So I came here and attempted to copy the thumb details again in order to edit it and then position it further up in my journal. Then erase the existing one so that it is not duplicated. However, when I tried to copy the thumbnail again however, for the reason I have just given a dA message cropped up saying something about copyright breach. Now I am worried that I am not allowed to feature your pictures in my journal. Have you any idea what I have unwittingly done wrong? I wont try again until you give me the all clear. it could be a glitch in the system.

I really do not know why that pop-up should come up. I am a complete idiot as far as such things go. I do not even know how to paste a pic in a journal entry.
But from my side, I have no problem at all in your using any number of pics you want to. Lots have featured in many people's journals, so may be this is a temporary glitch in the system.

In fact I am thankful to you for increasing my visibility

I like the way you have demonstrated how time has evolved from prehistoric to modern life.(this is how I see it) Very interesting detail. Excellent work!

A painting after my own...thing in my chest...
I tend to wonder about those stuck in old worn out models.... it would seem removing head from butt would make it clear that those models don't work anymore...but some like that position I guess.

I am not one to throw away what does work...it is just good to try and keep an open mind and be aware when something fails to suffice.
It is a powerful if some what smothering painting.

A very interesting mix ... I like the "time-element" to it although I cannot seem to make any generalizations about it.

I am not clear as to what you mean by 'generalisation'?

I do not know how to put it into words or connect it to anything that I know or beleive that I know in my own life where I can say, "Yes, that is something that is the cause of that..." or in terms of categorizing/grouping of concepts and/or people.

Though I don't have much of a brain, I like art that makes me think...hard.

Great work, CK and it definitely reminds me of the old adage, "those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it."

ItΒ΄s a wonderful work!
It could be a mixture of the Egyptian era and
the Stone Age.

Actually I am considering changing the title to -
captives of the past reconstruct history

from the present one -
those caught in the past...

I like the new title, more to get the mind around

I was about to comment when you deleted the image and re-submitted it, so I wrote a 'silly' poem on archaology instead

Oh it was you then!
I disovered a tiny mistake at the first submission, had to correct it, re-photo and all, so thought better to delete it.

Changed the title now.

Will have a look at your poem - good you that unexpected break!
