EDIT: This is it, I'm scrapping this one. Matthew's head REALLY bugs me (and I'm sure it bugs everyone), and I still haven't found a way to fix it. Until I can do it, this will remain in my scrap folder....Okay, I'm not going to deny it. This one turns out really crappy. -__-
Matthew and Sveta from Dark Dawn (spiritshipping?). Say what you will about Sveta *coughfurryhaterscough*; she's just awesome as the others. >(
Spoiler(?) for near-endgame, by the way. You know where.
Typical stuff; crappy anatomy and coloring. December 2010 seemed to be my worse month; none of the pics I finished are particularly satisfying :U
Will scrap this later when I hate it. -_-

I see what everyone's said about Matthew's head but otherwise I think this is an exceptionally good picture.
And I agree with you: just because a character resembles something that they hate it's wrong to project that hate onto the character.
The last scene at the Apollo Lens was awesome and I demand more Spiritshipping!

Well, they are right about the head nonetheless. That's exactly why I scrapped this drawing...
Kind of sad that some people don't even bother to restrain themselves, really. It's natural to like and dislike different things, but there are more useful things to do rather than setting unnecessary fire by bothering with anything they dislike.
More Spiritshipping will come in the future. X3

I see what you mean about Matthew's head. It looks like he's pulling a scene out of the Exorcist, his head is turned past his shoulder. Other than that, it's an awesome image (alot of people would kill for your talent!). More Matthew x Sveta please. She is too cute and he knows it!

I'm not gonna lie, I really like the end scene. Sveta's my favorite character and I think you did a fine job with this pic (but there is just something wrong with Matt's head).
I think this pair trumps the Felix/Sheba paring.

It's lovely! I admit I found the final scene pretty touching. I love to coloring, though I do agree about Matthew's head. This captures the scene very well, with the Umbra Gear protecting them.
And people hating Sveta? Everyone I know loves her and find her the best character in the game. Though yet again I don't visit a lot of the internet (got sick of fan waknery so I stay in a few places.) And it annoys me that people have to put down a beastmen race for being "furries." They're a heck of a lot more creative than generic elves and orcs. I'm glad DD actually got creative with them. I have a beastman OC but I can't drag myself up and draw her.

I can understand if it's a matter of taste (FYI, I'm mostly neutral about nonhuman races in stories), but at the same time it ticks me off when people refuses to at least look at a character's depth in the story SIMPLY for being what they hate. >__>"

The Umbra Gear's dark aura is surprisingly hard to make. I have to manage to give the "dark aura" feel without ruining the shading in the characters...
