Description
I've been commuting between Chicago and Detroit and taking advantage of the situation to watch a few new rails. Here in Northville, eating an ice cream cone, I heard the train clearing the diamond in Plymouth a few miles south so I started towards the tracks with my camera and was amazed to receive a very rare wave as well as a few unexpected remarks from some kids also eating ice cream here.Kid: "You taking pictures of the train?"
Me: "Yeah"
Kid: "Cool"
And we all wandered over to smile and wave back. I don't recall the last time something like this happened. Usually it's more like "Weird" or "Why" or just a stare.
