Description I created this simple clay stop-motion armature for demonstration purposes. The frame is twisted soft aluminum wire connected together with plumbers epoxy putty. The inside of the head is carved or melted styro-foam. Then the clay is applied over the armature and sculpted to form the features. The eyes should be hard baked as well as the teeth. This little guy is only about 4 or 5 inches tall.

when you animate this doesn't get all mushy? and dented???

Very nice, when I did sculpts (Not stopmotion) I did it much like this, only the insides were aluminum foil and ... well the whole thing was baked.


... it didn't move.

Thanks Nick, what you described is pretty much how I do hard baked sculpts also.
