Good morning, Clara. (I don't know if you're still up and about, but I'll just assume that it will be morning when you read this.) Thank you very much for the llama. Thank you especially for sharing your own personal artistic vision and style. This is a very young Twiggy you've drawn here. How do I know? Fifty years ago, when I was a young troubled thirteen-year-old teen, I had a crush on Miss Hornby. We were born on the same day of the year, and she was only four years older. But when you're a young guy, that made her "an older woman". So, thank you also for such a nice memory.
Cheers,
Ed

it's a pretty cool piece! As someone who's recently started practicing digital art, I'd love to learn that style

This is extremely cool.Β I am not sure how you even began this project but the execution seems flawless.Β Instantly recognizable and the triangles just add to the interest of the subject.Β

Ahhhhh thank you sosososo much! It was pretty difficult to figure out how to create and put together triangles to make Twiggy look 3-dimensional.Β
I started off by doing a very light outline of her face, then on top of that I did the big main triangles for the plain white areas like the forehead and cheeks, then I added more around them where there are curves, incaves, bumps, etc on the surface. Then for the dark regions I added smaller triangles and added parallel lines as an attempt to create a flow of some sort. Β
