I like this "selenium".....
Interestingly enough.... the eye is obviously a GRAND feature... but in fact I also feel as if I am in a sort of "jungle" or "forest" together with the bird... it is quite amazing...

Yes the jungle is the all of the shot, and the fact that the bird placed himself right there. One doesn't see it in color, because of the red of the bird. I am trying to use monochrome to help people actually see the creature for who he is; exotic and alien. Here's a secret: I have returned color back into the eye alone, but you wouldn't see it unless I told you.

And ... you are right... the animals, in this colouring, do look THEMSELVES and rather exotic... Fab idea Rene...
