Description
When I can tell the whole story (and there is a lot to this story) with a 50mm lens, I feel a sense of accomplishment as a photojournalist, which I am not. I know who I am: a bird photographer with aspirations. Taken at the Venice pier in Los Angelos, Ca.Related content

This is a cool shot, I can definitely see alot going on here without any clutter whatsoever....more like....a scene very busy at being surreal. I never thought about having a photographic identity until a couple weeks ago, while I would like to do it all, I have a feeling animals & structures will be the the main focus (no pun intended). Arches National Park is still a dream target for me...hopefully next Spring. Hope all is well!!

This image is so realistic it isn't realistic (compliment). It is like an electric image from a dream, the imagination. Maybe even surreal. I love it none the less! It's as though Ansel Adams hiked down from the mountains and dreamt up a good beach scene. Nothing in color could compare.
