This turned out wonderfully and I still can't get over the blade. It looks like it really can cut effortlessly, it's amazing. It also makes for a great cover since you mention your Sis' manga, and it's eye-catching too. The addition of those structures in the distance are is another favorite aspect about this. Did you do those yourself? If you did, then I'm so very pleased, because those are fantastic. Literally and figuratively.

I wouldn't mind if it was a book but since its a manga, I firmly believe that style of the cover/jacket art should be an example of its pages.
Yeah, I made up those structures. She just told me the beginning of the manga takes place in the desert. So I was thinking of desert structures and old desert kingdoms and then I had to get all fantastical so that's what I came up with. I would have done like a real painting but I didn't want to take from the figure.

Haha, it makes me wonder if you pronounce it correctly. And I mean like American correctly not even in the accent of its origin (we don't even pronounce it that way) but most people give up half way through. Yeah, a lot of people like my last name for some reason xD
