SPEEDPAINT: youtu.be/u2o563SYFS4thinking of doing some experimental portrait commissions in this style to practice drawing different faces!
they'll generally have the character from the neck/shoulders up, and feature a small scene (water, plants, clouds, whatever you want)
this one features on of my ocs, illuima *w* i'm gonna try and paint up another one as a sample so you guys can get a better idea of what they'll look like ^o^

Not to mention your absolutely wonderful character design. Illuima might be based on a neopet, but I feel like you've truly diversified from the original concept and made it completely your own by adding so many personal touches and ideas. I love the idea with the hair, and it is beautifully illustrated here.

That does indeed sound like a lot of fun. I adore character design after all, so it is always incredibly fun to see how people add their own twists and touches!
But at the same time, character design is just SO HARD. I should be doing more of it but I need to gather strength and courage. I seem to always end up liking everyone else's characters rather than my own.
