Description
this cutie must have been rejected from the clan my mother cousin and i (Delia67, SuperTinkleberry and myself) spotted (and photographed) over the other side of the road.It just sat there while all three of us madly hopped around taking photos of it. Mind you, we were madly hopping around in our minds.
Every step was thundering because we had such an oppurtunity and didn't wanna waste it.

I'm going to ask some of the more nature-savvy people I watch. Maybe one of them will know!

Is this the bird in the "Glittering" photo?
I thought first it was a young double-crested cormorant [link] but its head and feet are different.
My next guess is that it's some kind of heron, but there are so many species of heron that I don't know which one. Something about the feathers suggests it is a young bird, however, which can make identification more difficult.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!

and no it isn't the bird from glittering (I think) the two photos were taken about an hour apart and this bird is much paler than the others like it that were around that day
