I love this photo it is so dark and the clouds arranged themselves just perfectly and this tree is so amazingly knotted and scary.I kid you not, I backed up to the tree to get a photo of something else while standing next to it. When I had taken the shot I looked up at the tree I had sidled up against. I was then so confronted by a particular knot in the tree I had a minor freak out (like an arachnophobic fit after walking into a spider's web). Annoyingly the position I was standing in was forgotten in my haste to run away without looking like I was afraid of a tree. This is the closest thing I got to my initial view.
