Description
The second animation for Sonic Mania styled Amy I've completed. I think this animation went well without any real issues. I didn't like quite how curious Sonic looked as he stared, so while it is closely based off of his animation, I've toned down the expression just a tad. The only possible issue I see is the spines on her forehead, I fiddled with them for quite a while. The hand movement could also be tweaked ever so slightly, but I think it turned out alright as is. Total time spent is around 7 hours or so.

Next animation on the chopping block will most likely be her crouching and subsequent spindash/leap animation. Amy has featured both a spindash, and a cute little leap in the games, so I'll be making separate animations for both. Also studying her appearance in Sonic Advance to check out possible moves to give her i.e. Balloon hover, hammer jumping, face planting the leap move, etc. If you have suggestions, let me know.
