New Character!

This is Aella. She is an adoptable design that I won from =boribaby , and I was so incredibly psyched that I got her. I just fell in love with her and as it turns out, she's going to fit just perfectly into Bestowers. More info at the bottom; now I'm going to post the little story I wrote for her.

The sixteen wheeler struck her hindquarters hard enough to break her leg and twist her spine to the point of snapping. Somehow, the truck barreled on without so much as a pause, and she only barely managed to haul herself to the shallow ditch beside the road. For three nights, she lay there, unable to move. She couldn't help but think about her life...what she had done, where she had been...
Once, she had had a home. With a herd of horses like her, as a matter of fact. Or at least mostly so. No one had stripes like her. No one had blue eyes like her. She was, however, accepted. Mostly. She wasn't sure who her parents were or where they had gone, but from what information she had gleaned, she had simply been found one day by the lead stallion. Unable to leave a two-day old foal alone in the wilderness, he allowed her to join his little band.

Until one day, a strange male attacked their lead stallion. He was forced to retreat, or face death. The herd's lives changed drastically that day. The first stallion had cared for his mares because they mattered to him. This one cared only for aesthetics...and he was sure that Aella would produce the most beautiful foals of all the mares, due to her striking markings.

He learned otherwise when her hoof connected with his nose. She ran while she had the chance, and wandered for several weeks, alone, until she made what surely would be a fatal mistake.

She tried to cross a highway. It wasn't busy, at least not at night...but she couldn't see around the bend.

A dying soul sends out a certain kind of energy. She was no Tabharthói, but she was still a living thing. Scion was the Guardian of living things. When he found her, she had almost gone.

Aella remembered the earth glowing softly around her, through half-closed eyes. The pain faded, and as her eyesight returned, she saw the stallion. He was like nothing she had ever seen before. His coat was chocolate brown, with striking green markings swirling over his legs and face. He paused, looking at her, and she struggled to find her voice.

“Who...who are you?” He stared at her. When she blinked, he disappeared. Her muscles screamed when she got to her feet, but her injuries were gone. Cars whizzed by just feet away, the activities of one Guardian and one startled mare unbeknownst to them. She limped away from the now-busy highway, to a small grove of trees a mile away. Who had that stallion been, and where had he come from? She had never seen markings like that...and the way the earth had warmed beneath her after it had been so cold... “How can I find you?” the wind carried her words away, but returned no answer.

There was a strange certainty within her as the breeze ruffled her silken mane. She would see him again.

Now. Info! She wears two small gold bangles that I totally forgot to include...on her left foreleg I'll have to add them in later. Anyway, I can't reveal too much about the rest of her story right now because it'll be better as a surprise.

She is a perfect mirror, however. Her markings are the exact same on both sides. Because I love them way too much to even think of changing them. Kept the shading simple but I'm happy with it nonetheless. Added the closeup of her eye since you can't see hers that well. Also...yay hooves! I guess that's what happens when I really take my time on something. Enjoy!
