o_o this story is my favorite EVARRRRRRR. Out of all of the fairy tales in the world, this tops them all. ive read every version ive gotten my hands on. my favorite so far is Beast by donna jo napoli, but this picture isnt based off of it. In her book the beast is just a lion. Mine looks closer to the disney version.

Roses suck, and i cheated on the foreground XD but meh. Still love this picture

I picture him singing "If i cant love her", a song from the broadway version. (lyrics above)
