One morning, Tails and Cosmo were having breakfast. After Cosmo finished hers, she said, "Tails, I'm going outside for some fresh air." Tails said, "Okay but be careful Cosmo." Cosmo said, "Don't worry, I will." She walked outside and sat down near a flower patch. She sighed heavenly and said, "My, what a lovely day." Suddenly, she felt someone pounce on her. It said, "Hello Cosmo." Cosmo gasped and said, "Evil Carly! What are you doing here?!" Evil Carly smirked and said, "I'm here to kill you so I can please my master." Cosmo yelled out, "No, stay away!" She escaped from Evil Carly's grasp and ran away. Evil Carly chased after her. She pounced on her again and grabbed her arms so she will not escape. She said, "It's time for you to die Seedrian!" She opened her hand and a black ball with black lightning bolts appeared. Cosmo gasped. Just then, two tails appeared and hit Evil Carly hard. He walked to Cosmo and said, "Cosmo, are you alright?" Cosmo nodded. Evil Carly growled and said, "You stupid fox! You're always in my way!" Tails glared at her. Evil Carly said, "Now, let's settle this and hand over the girl nice and easy." Tails said, "You want Cosmo?" He picked Cosmo up and said, "Try and catch me." He spun his two tails and flew into the sky. Evil Carly spread out her giant wings and flew after him. Cosmo said, "Tails, she's gaining on us!" Tails said, "Don't worry Cosmo, I'll protect you no matter what happens. I promise you."
