A quick concept doodle for one of our game critters. Still a bit rough, I might touch her up a bit but her ingame sprite is going to be only a couple hundred pixels tall at most; she's a fairly common drone so maybe 150px tall? Still, I really enjoy playing with textures and what not, sometimes I over do it but…oh well lol ^_^Related content

It's a lot of just snapping random photos of anything that looks interesting and hoping your hard drive has enough space to hold the ratpack-y nature of image archival until you need it lol. The texture is snagged from a log I found near a cafe I visited up on Haleakala, I think you'd enjoy the place, it's very calming

Some day, some day ^_^ But yeah, the place is pretty darn calm, even with the tourists coming in and out of the place. A bit chilly, relatively speaking, but a light jacket and you're good to go… I just wish they had some wi-fi or a power outlet or something heh.

I'm glad my battery lasts as long as it does now (my old laptop would die under about 45min. of Photoshop work) but sometimes I wanna check a reference I left online and then… DOH!… gotta wait until I get back to civilization

Not for my specific laptop, unfortunately :-\ I carry it around enough where the extra encumbrance from having a replaceable battery mechanism would probably be noticeable, that and I'm almost never without a plug anyways…just at that one cafe, heh.
