With Yuffie and Tifa having sent Cloud and Leon to the beach, the two brunettes were just standing by the shore, staring at the waves. Why did they agree to do this with Yuffie and Tifa? Well... It was their first few days of dating, Cloud and Leon. Maybe the beach would be fun. The sun was high in the sky and clouds were barely apparent.

"Go! What are you guys waiting for? An invitation?!" yelled Yuffie. She was already in the water with Tifa, waving her arms for the boys to join them.

Cloud smirked and grabbed at Leon's hand.

"Come on." He quickly pulled Leon into the cold water, the water not seeming to affect Cloud, but Leon quickly shivered.

"Cloud! Hold on! It's co--" but he had no time to finish his sentence as he pushed Leon into the water, the brunette tumbling and falling into the water, head first, Cloud just standing there and smirking.

Leon's head poked out of the water, his eyes glaring at Cloud and then splashing the laughing man, pulling him down as well.

The four played in the water for a very long time. Until the sun started to come down. Cloud and Leon stood in the water, watching the sun go down. Their first sunset together. The gentle wind passed through them and Leon looked over to Cloud as the blonde ran a hand through his hair.

Only then did Leon take in everything. He looked at how skinny yet muscular Cloud was, how his body could fit his personality so well, how his hair was so... amusing and alluring when it was wet, the water droplets moving down Cloud's body to the water as the waves crashed upon him.

Cloud blinked and looked at Leon, smirking slightly. "You like what you see?" he asked, gently. Leon only blinked and quickly looked away when he realized what he was doing. It wasn't right to stare.

"Of... Of course... You're my lover..."

Cloud snickered a little bit.

"What's so funny?" Leon asked, confused.

"You... You're so nervous..." Cloud brought a hand to Leon's cheek, caressing it slowly, pulling their faces slowly together. Slowly, their lips met in a gentle kiss. Their fourth kiss for their entire time of dating. It was so sweet.

The sweet sound of seagulls.

The sound of the ocean crashing against rocks.

The feel of their lips gently against each other's, Leon's arms wrapping around Cloud's waist to pull him closer.

Everything was so right.
