Very nice! I agree, Thailand-ese handwriting is certainly beautiful. Also, how would you pronounce Bhume's name? To me it looks like it should be something like "Boom" or "Boom-eh" but I am not at all sure, and you are probably snickering as you read this note at poor Americans who have easy names like Tim and Beth-- and then we have quite a long way to go to correctly pronounce Asian names. ^.^

It's hard to pronounce Asian words too, and so sad that my country doesn't have only one standard to use like Chinese and present Korean.
I use Bh from Bhutan, Buddhist etc.
"Bhume" sound like word "pool" but change to poom
Thai language has root from India, because of this,there are many words that use similar.

p.s. Bhume in Thai word is ภูมิ it means "earth", "land".

Oh, that's pretty cool! Have you ever seen any of the relatively new cartoon show Avatar: the Last Airbender? There is a recurring character named Bumi, who is ancient but a respected man who can manipulate earth and rocks using a combination of body movement and mind power. So when I see Bhume's name, I sort of think of Bumi, and it's also appropriate because Bhume's name means earth and land-- but obviously they are pronounced very differently. :-D Thank you for telling me how Bhume's name *is* pronounced!
I also think your grammar is just fine and very understandable! In fact, there are many English speakers who use much worse grammar. It almost makes me ashamed about how little people seem to care about their language! I generally cut more slack about grammar to people for whom English is a second language because I am not at all bilingual and have great respect for those who know more than one language and can communicate well.

I know "Avatar" too, one of my favorite cartoon in oriental style from western world.
Bumi may come from same root but when it goes to another language, the pronounce may change.
I think "Avatar" usually use pronounce from Chinese more than Indian then it may be difference from Thai (I think Thai culture is relate to India more than Chinese but they both mixer of South East Asian culture)
Did you know, I'm so proud that most of art concept in Fire Nation is come from Thai, you can see it from architecture, martial art style (It's really Muay Thai), and especially in Ember Island (very close to Thai things). Although it's villain's nation but I see that Thai is one of Asian culture that western know too.

To English speakers :
Bhume is read in Thai as "poom", but this one is written using Pali-Sanskrit spelling so it goes like that.
Thai's readings read "พ" and "ภ" with exactly the same voice and tone, but they are written differently when it comes to English representation as "พ" is "P" but "ภ" is "Bh".
