Cole was one of many people attending the party thrown by the sorority. He had heard the rumors but dismissed them as lies and slander created by their enemies. He was unaware that several members of the sorority had already singled him out as a potential new member.

Barbara casually walked up to him and asked if he wanted to go on a tour of the sorority house. Cole gladly agreed. She started with the ground floor showing him the living room, dining room, kitchen, and library. Next she showed him the basement which was surprisingly empty.

Then Barbara went upstairs and showed Cole some of the dorm rooms. He seemed fascinated by them and imagined what life inside them might be like. At the far end was a closed door. She explained that it was the pink room.

Cole eagerly approached the pink room. He wondered how the room got its name. Was it simply because the walls were pink or was there more to it than that? He opened the door and discovered the walls were indeed pink.

The only furniture was a round pink table with four pink chairs around it. A single window was in the corner with pink colored glass. On the wall were pictures of pink lemonade, girls and women in pink colored outfits, and pink colored plants with pink blossoms.

It felt like the pink blossoms were blowing around the room. Cole had never experienced so much pinkness in his life. He was even more excited about it. The blossoms were affecting his clothes turning them pink.

That was not the only change that was happening. His body and even his mind were being carried away by the pink blossoms. The blossoms covered his entire body as the room glowed an even brighter pink than before.

After a few minutes, Cassie emerged from the mountain of pink blossoms. She was wearing a bright pink shirt and white blouse with pink flowers on it. Some gold earrings with crosses on them completed the look. After all, everything did not need to be pink.

The pink blossoms faded away and returned to the painting from where they came. Cassie returned to Barbara who had been waiting patiently for her to complete her tour of the sorority house. Once the tour was done, Barbara told Cassie that she had been accepted into the sorority. She was overjoyed as if a lifetime goal had finally been reached.
