Codeblu90 — Harmony Architecture Model

Description A 3D Occlusion rendering of the architecture model in in currently putting together for my Architecture Design class. Its a meeting hall for Democrats and Republicans, the site is in Washington DC. The model is supposed to show harmony, so I choose Music as my concept i.e. harmony between chords and melodies, harmony between the keys that make up individual chords, etc.
The sides represent piano keys, and the rods on top (made of brass tubing) represent the strings on the inside of a piano. Other materials include pegboard, eggcrate, 1/2" and 1/4" foam core and some plastic ABS rods.

Will upload a newer version if I decide to texture it. Will also upload a picture of the final model when I'm done building it.

This was really fun to make on the computer, really simple too, maybe an hour or less to model and render.. After I did all the hand drawings, I really appreciated the simplicity of the computer haha I don't know if you saw my axonometric drawing [link] , but it took me hours and hours to draw (its a hand drawing architecture class). The project turned out really good though, the teacher really pushes us to be very conceptual when designing buildings, and this one tied into my concept very well, presentation went great as too.

Ha thanks! I'm actually pretty happy with how this project turned out for a change, so the self confidence should help the presentation considerably xD

that's great! =] it's always nice to be happy with the finished product. it does make presenting it better because your not so worried.
