Description This is my first time messing around with Mandelblub, its SO COOL.
I used the ABoxS2_StarWars16 fractal that was included with the application and found a pretty interesting area.
It kind of reminds me of Pandora from Avatar.

Special thanks to 100SeedlessPenguins for introducing me to Mandelbulb3D!!

tell please how name of the program, which can create 3d fractals? I'd just using "INCENDIA" - very unfit, no fullscreen and I don't see anything, while typing parameters ;/

Yea, I really am. I mean it takes so little effort to make an amazing image like this one, all my friends were blown away by it.. but of course I didn't tell them the secret

I want to play around with it a lot more, maybe figure out how to make my own fractals eventually. I'd also love to make an animation, I saw a few on youtube, they look absolutely amazing.

Now if only you could take the fractals into Maya...

exactly ! exporting the objects to a 3D program would be awesome but the poly count would be way too high i didn't know that program would make animations . lol . i haven't even seen those options yet . hmmm ....

Yea my computer would probably catch on fire lol
I've been looking into some scripts and plugins that can make fractals in maya though.
You should check out some of the animations, since the fractals never end, there are just more and more details as the camera makes its way through the fractal.

I think [link] Incendia can export fractals as 3D objects but I think it requires a computer with multiple processors . A friend gave me that link , I saved it , but haven't had time to research it properly
