Description
A crack-shipper friend of mine went into fangirl mode afther watching the latest Naruto movie, as TenTen only speaks to Shino in it. She thinks that LeeTen hasn't been officialy confirmed 8even with all those hints showing up and Pierrot/Taira's support on the pairing) because Kishimoto maybe wants to ship her with Shino.So right after watching the movie myself I decided to made this collage/comic for her. The plot breaks the 4th wall as there is a character who actually works for Kishimoto inside the film and they just want to see the fandom burn XD

There will always be shipping wars, even in the wake of the victory of NaruHina, this will always exist in other theaters of war.

This is the manga/anime series in which shipping wars are more frequent though.

How is Shinoten validated by the movie?

It's not. But as she only shared panel time with Shino, who seems to be single, and LeeTen hasn't been confirmed or denied yet... many ShinoTen fans think that Kishi might be thinking about having these two together.
Not that I would mind if that happens though (even if it is crack as hell). It would be a good way to redeem himself from those horrible Christmas Cake jokes he made with Mei and show that you don't need to hurry on your twenties to find love... but that you can focus on your career and settle down later.

I guess, but it seems rushed with no reason like CHoji and Karui, but if it happens it happens.
Honestly I think Leeten has more proof to it, it save more time than creating another character and there were zero to no female characters connected to lee other than her.

LeeTen is the only pairing that makes sense regarding any of these two characters. They have development and a strong bond that unites them, the only reason I would accept it not happening is that TenTen actually wanted to be different from the other girls and focus on her career (instead of becoming a housewife at twenty)
Kishi trying to be a feminist by doing this wouldn't be all that bad. As there is no other female character to claim Metal Lee's motherhood, she can act as a step-mother by marrying him later.
So the options are:
1- TenTen married Lee in her twenties and gave birth to Metal.
2- TenTen remained single and became a legendary kunoichi. Married Lee later and adopted Metal
3- Lee is already married to an invisible fodder with no personality and TenTen (the legendary kunoichi) finds love with another character (Shino?) or trains her own students.

I like the first two better, not that I don't mind the 3rd, but there was even a small 2 pages about tamaki and Kiba so making someone else wouldn't make any sense and there was no real correlation between Shino and Tenten and are two ninja who are in a relationship allowed to work together on the Chunin exams/
someone on tumbler said something about what Kishimoto is doing if it is Tenten, since its sort of similar to Sarada about Karin and Sakura.
