I have been so totally done with the side of the SasuSaku and Naruto fandoms that attack and tear down Karin. She's not a terrible character. She was there for comedic relief in the beginning, but as Gaiden showed, she's grown up and matured like she should have, and I think that's a really great thing to see.
I really hope that we can see some of her friendship with Sakura and Sarada in the Boruto manga.

Exactly, Karin is a character witha dark past who evolve from a comic relief character to a mature aunt-figure and friend.
I hate how radical shippers are unable to see how interesting and well-writen is this character just because she loved Sasuke in the past.

I agree. I used to not like her, but eventually came to the point where I loved her and thought she was funny.
I'd LOVE to see what her past was, to get a better understanding of her, but I'm doubtful we'll ever get that, aye.
I may even try writing a short fanfic of her friendship with Sakura and Sarada soon.

Maybe, as they are re-writing the movie we might see her cheering Sarada during the chuunin exams (I can dream T_T)
