I'm also a great fan of LeeTen couple. Also, I got a hunch that Lee and Ten are eventually the parents of Metal Lee. In "Boruto the movie" at the credit's background, there's an image in wich all the new generations are put on, with for most of them, their parents behind, the only ones that "doesn't have" his parents behind is supossely "Mitsuki" and "Metal Lee", and instead there's Lee and Tenten behind him. Based on that, it's that suposed to be a "Old and New" generation pic? Yeah, it seems.. but the way they did the sort of characters is Kinda weird.. next to Boruto, is Mitsuki and next to him Metal Lee, behind Boruto is Naruto, Hinata, Ten Ten and Lee. Behind Boruto it's obvious why Naruto and Hinata are there (they're not sort as teams), and it's pretty obvious as well why Behind Mitsuki there's no one there (Orochimaru's son), so.. the question now is.. why is both Ten ten and Lee behind Metal Lee?. To be honest, I would need the full picture in order to figure out something, but.. with what I have now, we can assume that Kishimoto just forgot to put the info there, or he's going to use it as material for another story after the movie.

Kishimoto is still thinking about what to do with Metal Lee's mom issue, but never denied TenTen was the mother. He just wants to keep it a secret for now (maybe he is planning to do another Gaiden, after all he did the same with Sarada and Mitsuki)
Studio Pierrot and his editor, Kenji Taira, are LeeTen supporters so they made a guess. Pierrot added TenTen in the this picture with Lee and Metal (and not put her next to the single people) to play it safe because they might think this is canon. Kenji, in her spin-off special chapter included TenTen in the sexy jutsu with the other mothers too.
Mitsuki didn't appear with Orochimaru, because it was revealed he was his father AFTER the credits. If that's the surprise of the movie, there's no point of spoiling it before... that's the reason he is alone in the middle of the pictre.
