Description Been spending an hour here and there after work playing with Maya. I made these window pieces with diffuse, spec, and normal map on the bricks. I made the normal in photoshop.

you want a decal like graphite? go with a layered shader. i found this site to be pretty helpful with texturing and effects. cool bricks. now model a Ghost Buster sign!

Looks good for a test. Some random bits of grime on the bricks would be nice.

I'll put some random bits of grime on you!
Hey by the way you know how to slide a random bit of something on a texture? like a decal? Is that something you have to do in-engine?

Just make a plane, with alpha and grime, and throw them everywhere. Or you could just paint it in the actual texture. I think some engines have the ability to have procedural overlay textures.
