Description EDIT:: I thank *FireofAnubis and *SterlingRuinsFall337 for both redlining this and helping me out. c: While Ruin's redline was helpful, I decided to ref off of Anubis' since she sort of kept my style. :3 Still, they were both great. x3 Oh. Ignore those FAIL wings. She does have black wings, but rarely uses them. -cough-

Once I figure out how to clear my scratch disks, , I'll work on this in photoshop. But it's being a DICK right now. .-.;;

I'm sorry it's a wip, and a sketchy one, but omg. has seriously inspired me. D: I've been working non stop on this thing, and I'm just having trouble with the hind legs. |D;;

I'd like some helpful crits, on how I should improve the shoulders, body size/length/blahblahblah. Since I'm still a beginner about wolves and their anatomy. So helpful crits are most welcome. <3

Not sure who this'll be, but I'm actually going to-- oh that's right. I can't use photoshop anymore. >__> Boo. It's horrible my scratch-disks are full. HALP? -wail- I can't even OPEN it...

Seeing as I'm not very good at writing out critiques, I thought redlines would do:: [link]

You don't have to follow them out exactly, but these were just a few things that I saw could be fixed a bit, and I did my best to keep with the style you have going here. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a… " width="19" height="19" alt="" title="Sweating a little..." />
Let me know if you have any questions or anything.

The main thing that was a bit off to me was the stomach area. It looks a bit too lithe to be that of a wolf. Wolves usually have very large rib cages so they can take in a fair amount of air when running. I just widened out a few things to show what I saw could be fixed. I know it's not the best, but I found red lining works pretty good when a person can't quite convey what they want to say in text. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a… " width="19" height="19" alt="" title="Sweating a little..." />
I hope this helps....

It's so awesome to hear that i've inspired you! And that's looking great so far! I really love that face! It looks perfect!

I'm pretty hopeless at critique and this is my first, so bear with me :'D

Anyway...hmm..the neck needs to be a little thicker, on the left side, it should start just behind the ear rather than near the center of the head, i think if you thickened it out a bit more you may not even need that hind shoulder to show.

The front legs are coming along nicely, though the 'thumbs' are a little low, they should be a bit higher up on the foot.

You have two options for the body, either move it so that it is further back, at the same sort of angle as the front of the body which is facing forward. Or, keep it where it is now but bring the right (the wolf's right) hind leg a bit further forward from where you originally placed it.

From what i can see of the back legs you've drawn then erased, you are already very good with the structure, all the bends in the leg look pretty darn good! But the toes should be at more of a forward facing angle or 3/4 sort of view.

Also, a wolf's back tends to slope down rather than up as you've done here. Or, you could shorten the hind legs so that they are placed further back, this would make the floor underneath him go further back and his body look more 3-D.

Uh...i think that's about all i can say for now, i hope that made sense and helps!

Though since you bought me a subby,as an extra thanks, if you want i could red-line this pic for you, or sketch out roughly the pose and a few things you could do with the hind legs :3

Beautiful work Looks great!
Yeah, my redlines were kind of crappy... well, not kind of crappy, really crappy.... but it would have been much worse had I tried to explain what I thought could have been worked out a bit
