Grappling and grabbing and clawing and close-quarters in-your-faceness has always been more tense and interesting for me than laser battles or firefights or super-powered kung-fu anime punch outs. And, as far as I've seen, when guns aren't involved, real fights typically go this direction.

Xenos areΒ pretty smart in their own canon, even thought the movies don't explore it too deeply. I thought it would be kind of interesting to give them an empathetic side, or at least some body language.
