I know that this was made a long time ago, but I think that whether or not renders can be counted as art theft is still debatable now, so I guess I will offer my opinion. *cough cough*
A render, as far as I am knowledgeable, is an image in which the background of an image has been changed into transparent. This is helpful for people who may want to use a certain part of an image for whatever reason but wish to have a different background (ex. with this render the original background was plain white, I may want to add a fancy rainbow background or whatever). Sure, people are probably able to do that sort of stuff by themselves, but again, it is always helpful for anyone to have access to renders online. I myself am quite lazy and would definitely prefer to just grab a render off of the internet.
I believe that a lot of people think that renders are art theft because most of the time, people who render images are not the actual artists of the images, just like in this case. However, it was made clear in the description of this deviation that codzocker00 did not draw the image and they even provided a link to the original.
In conclusion, renders should be perfectly fine to upload onto websites such as DeviantArt, as long as they have the correct credits towards the original artists, like this. I'm curious to see what other people think, so feel free to argue with me if you like. I know that I am obviously not always right. Heck, I'm a huge noob in the art community, so this is all just my guesses on what credits should be like.

Isn't obvious? Nothing in there deviantart gallery has any consistency. They didn't draw this they just took out the background which is art theft.

All those renderers rip off pictures from their original authors, tear off their background and copyrights and upload them to get attention for nothing.
