No ifs, ands or buts because that`s a really HORRIBLE excuse to pull. Making an anthro version isn't alterating it. I realize that when I buy an adopt, I generally can't alter the design, and I do respect that but in making an anthro form, I'm essentially just taking the same character and making it stand on two legs.. That's it. No alteration whatsoever.
As far as having the 'right', about 98% of the deviantart, furaffinity, weasyl etc.. culture will make an anthro and feral form for any characters they receive, or purchase.
