Have you seen the self laminating sheets? They can be a bit difficult to use as far as air bubbles go but its better than nothing.

If you have a Micheal's Crafts, Office Depot, or something near you like that they should have them. They are self adhesive laminating sheets. As far as I can remember they can be used normally in a laminator but they double as you can just peel them and laminate by hand. So you peel one sheet put the picture on it than peel a second and place it on the other side than bam you got yourself a nice laminated badge thing or whatever. uvu
