A very beautifully done portrait of BoA Kwon. You are a very skilled artist. She is one of my most favorite singers. In fact, I fell in love with one of her song "Every Heart" from watching Inuyasha. She is full korean and that could be one reason she sings so good. Koreans are great singer, many even better than American singers.

I stick to the regular 2b pencil with it's default setting.

To apply color, I used either simple water from watercolor brush or the 2b pencil. It depends. If I want to have some blending during the application of color, I woud use the simple watercolor brush from the watercolor brush. If I want some hard color effect, then I switch to 2b pencil. To blend, I use the Just add water from the Liquid brush. I switch between the blending brush and the coloring brush a lot, so it's kinda like a buildup layers ontop of layers.

It's all done brush by brush. Truth to tell, i'm clueless when it comes to photomanipulation.

Wow! I love Boa Kwon! She's my favorite singer! This is a must fave for me. BoA is 100% Korean, but she can speak Korean, Japanese, a little bit of Chinese right now and a little bit of English too. I have a lot of her cd's in Korean and Japanese. ^.^

heh, just a quick info for all you ppl: Boa is 100% Korean, not half Japanese. Sm Entertainment sort of brought her (at a very young age....if i remember she was 13 or something) up to aim both the korean and Japanese market seeing there was more money to make in Japan. Boa proved to be more popular in Japan than in Korea though, ironically enough. Anyway, all that to say, nice art.

Hmm... I remember reading she's half half on a CD I bought, but the info was written in Chinese, so it could be wrong. Dunno.

lol, it was probably wrong. I'm Korean, so u definitly can trust my source (at least on korean singers, lol). but there does seem to be an awful lot of misinformation on lots of KR singers, etc. must be the crappy translations i guess.

Never heard of BoA, but she sure is pretty This is magnificent! The hair face are extraordinarily beautiful, and the details are fantastic. The earrings and necklace are lovely, and the shirt is nice too. The colors blend smoothly and I've run out of compliments, but I just love this
