I'm just annoyed by fans who think and claim that Foxy x Chica/Freddy x Bonnie is canon. Of course everyone can ship what they want but don't overdo it, try to convince others to ship it or insult the people who don't like your ship.

I have not played fnaf nor a fan, but i do know aspects such as the story and of course the fanbase. I think it's safe to say that fnaf is going through this phase similar to things supposedly meant for horror but ended up in a different direction. For example, creepypastas like Jeff and BEN drowned was intentionally made to be creepy but unintentionally became not-so creepy, to the point of admiration, love interest, and defence. Fnaf too is going through this phase of ending up in a different situation.
In my perspective, I like to see them as a group of dumbasses for comedic purposes. They attack the guard cause he's the only one with a good paycheck, brought good food, booze, or drugs, and other stupid reasons.
Here is how i view the crew:
Freddy: The informal leader of the crew. He got his status because he plans most of the attacks and stops fights between members, usually through beating the shit out of the agitator or both. Compared to the rest, he is the most sane. From Canada but moved to northern California cause of drugs (yes, he's a druggie). Not willing to call himself a Canadian bear, he will always claim he is a Russian or Alaskan bear to make him look cool and will change the story.
Bonnie: Possibly the eldest of the crew and the second strongest. He is from Scotland and a heavy drinker, often being drunk during his day job and night raids. Being Scottish, he is made fun of Foxy from his Scottish jokes, which leads the two to fight each other, usually with Bonnie being the victor and Foxy the pile of waste. (he's Scottish cause when people try to defend that Bonnie's a girl, they mention that Bonnie is a Scottish girl name. Also, cause of that, he is also made fun of for having a girl's name!)
Chica: A BOY (let me get that out first. Why? Cause I can, plus the comedic route makes me want to believe Chica is a boy). From the south but moved to southern Cal to escape farm-life for beach-life. Second most sane person. He's the crew's food hoarder, leaving the kitchen empty at night (staff wonders why food is gone so they keep on buying), making the crew attack the guard for food. Cause of his girlish name and yellow appearance, he's nicknamed "Sunshine" (Remember the Titans reference).
Foxy: The troublemaker and ass of the group. He is usually bad with working with the team, so he's kept in Pirate Cove to prevent a screw up, but of course he doesn't listen. Being the troublemaker, he is the number one suspect for most things and ends up getting decked. Came from England (most pirates are from England). Being British, he makes fun of Bonnie's Scottish background. Examples of stuff he would say are "Your mum was so drunk that when she gave birth to you, she accidentally wrote Bonnie instead of Bobbie on your papers!" "You think you're free from me you twat? You ain't cause own damn country can even get independence from us Brits!"
In my OTHER perspective, where i thought of it seriously, i see them as tools of revenge. The crew was neither evil nor good. The ones who really wanted you dead were the souls of the dead children. They took control of the animatronics to kill a man who bears resemblance/similarities of their murderer for revenge (in this case, job occupation). They're just like guns. The true culprit is not the gun itself, but the users. In that sense, they do not have feelings nor should you have feelings for "weapons."

You know, comedic purposes! I thought of it as if I was making a YouTube parody/animation series. And in the animations I see, there is a bunch of cursing
dick jokes, sexual shit, a pinch of stereotypes/racism, and violence. And they still manage to be funny.

How fnaf shipping works (by looking at fanart and all that):
Make the chicken in love with a fox even though the fox could eat the chicken in real life and because they are barely together in the game anyways.
Make the bunny in love with the bear because there is nobody else to ship them with because Choxy/FoCh/Fhica/etc. exists or because there is a bear and a bunny even though the bear can eat the bunny.
Then there are sensible people who know that the animatronics are dead children AND it could turn out they are all guys AND they are lifeless suits with a disc or chip for a brain.
Go ship the people from the game. (Well maybe not) Like, ScottXVinecent, JeremyXMikeblah blah blah

I pretty much see them as you do. I do ship a little in my AU (either an AU where they are human employees or just anthropomorphic animals) but what I hate with a vengeance is when people ship in the original storyline. I don't even need to say why.
