I don't only like your Harry Potter stuff... I LOVE your fat hamster! Such a cutie!
The only thing that I don't like is, that you keep comparing Voldemort with Hitler. That's not funny. Jokes about Hitler are never funny.
And when you really think about both of them, Voldemort was never, never, never such a disgusting monster!
What Hitler did can't be compared with anything - he gave Europe the darkest times ever and did things I don't even want to think about - but above all he was a real person AND the most horrible man who ever walked on this earth.
Voldemort is just a fictional character.
This should be no offence! Normally I don't write comments like that, but when I saw "Realization" on your website, I was shocked...
So I would beg you to think about that, when you do your next comics!

My views on the Hitler versus Voldemort CONCEPT:
- Obviously Hitler is a much more painful topic than Voldemort... because Voldemort isn't real...
- But, I think if both were real, their actions would be comparable. In fact, it is my opinion that JK Rowling crafted the idea of Voldemort and his Death Eaters with Nazi Germany in mind--there are a surprising number of similarities: both Voldemort and Hitler started organizations to persecute and subjugate a group of people based purely on heritage; they sought to "purify" the blood of the population; Voldemort was actually part-Muggle, and Hitler was actually part-Jewish -- in other words, there is an element of self-loathing and self-destruction behind their obscene actions; both are ugly (that last one was a joke to lighten the mood a bit...)
My views on the Hitler versus Voldemort COMICS:
- Because it is my personal opinion that they are similar, I think soft references to this fact in my comics are acceptable.
- However, I think using actual images of the Nazis is pushing it. I was on the fence about the comic you are referring to (which is why I only put it on my personal site, rather than my deviantART site). I only like it because I think Voldemort's and Bellatrix's expressions are priceless... but I don't actually like it *that* much. At the time I posted it, I was trying to meet a deadline quickly, and I regret admitting that I chose to include it so that I would meet my quota on time. >.< In any case, now that I have enough content without it, I think I will take it down.
I enjoyed our conversation. Thank you again for bringing up this matter in such a civilized fashion. It's so hard for me to take people seriously when they're rude because I get really frustrated lol! So, since I plan to remove that comic, shall we consider this matter settled?

I feel very relieved, that you don't feel offended by my words! Offending was the last thing I wanted. I prefer to talk to people the same way as I want them to talk to me. Being polite and gentle is absolutely required for civilized discussions.
You are right, there are many similarities we can't overlook and I remember having read somewhere that Rowling really had Hitler in mind when she invented Voldemort.
Nevertheless do I think that there are differences. I didn't read anything about concentration camps or killing millions of people in the Potter-books (especially killing in such a barbarian way). The Death Eaters were cruel and walked around torturing and killing people, that's right, but I'm sure they didn't do it in this incredible way the Nazis did. No system before or after the Nazis was that way of... words fail me... horrible (I don't know a fitting word for the disgust I feel about that matter).
Voldemort was a fascist by all means, and there are many fascists in the world, unfortunately many of them being leaders. fascism is one of the reasons why there have always been and will always be wars 
But in the end of all I have this feeling, that in the moment of his death Voldemort regretted what he has done.
On the other side Hitler never regretted anything and commited suicide like a coward. I'm sure there was nothing human in Hitler, but I dare to believe, that there was still something human left in Voldemort...
Of course we can consider this matter settled. This Nazi-thing is just a topic which bothers me very much. I've learned so much about these dark times in school, that I can see the differences... Where I'm born we have to deal with this matter for about 70 years now...

OH YOU'RE FROM GERMANY *says your profile page*
For some reason I feel like this makes more sense to me now.
While I'm sure people hate Hitler all over the world, I think *on average* there are probably stronger feelings about the topic in Germany than in America (where I live)...
It therefore makes even more sense that we would experience different reactions to the same images.
In my comics, I will strive to make everybody in the world feel comfortable!!!
(except people who don't like hamsters... they will have to deal it...)
This shouldn't be too hard... since I think that one comic was just a fluke, and I could feel it on the inside that I wasn't totally comfortable with it.
Sidenote: Your English is SUPER GOOD. I noticed a few mistakes in your last long message, but when I read your first message, I had no idea it wasn't your first language. As implied by the opening to this message ("OH YOU'RE GERMAN"), I had assumed you were American!

Here in Germany this topic is handled very sensible. Every child knows what happened in those days... That's why I just can't laugh about that sort of jokes... Everything related to this topic is really, really terrible and not funny at all.
I don't believe that you can make everybody in the world feel comfortable... Expecially when making jokes you're always in danger to offend somebody... But we can't always be political correct, right?
And I'm sure, there are some people who don't like hamsters

I think, being able to speak English is one of the most important keys to get in touch with people all over the world.
And another thing about Voldemort: Wouldn't a childhood like his make a lot of the people turn into a bitter and cynical person? He never learned to love or care for someone, cause no one ever showed him. I mean, it's just logical that he turned into such a misanthrope... Of course, this is no excuse for the things he's done, but it may be the reason for them. Oh, OK, I'm no psychoanalyst - these are just thoughts that come to my mind sometimes...
