This year the cones are bigger than last year. I think because it was cooler and wetter this year.

Wow our weather was the exact opposite here. We had very little rain and super hot weather! The berries were quite the failure unfortunately. There were many fire bans in the National and Provincial Parks. Everything was so dry and thirsty. I admit that I poured many buckets of water over junipers, berry patches and bushes, and tree roots while out in the bush this summer.

That is how we were last summer, we a few fires around us, and a burn ban against campfires, and all other outside fires. This year the burn ban has already been lifted.
