youre stealing/copying his style and youre doing a bad job of it. its good to have inspirations and aspirations, but, when you copy someone or you try to animate like someone else consistently, you lose your own creativity and originality. the thing is, you cant animate as good as syrius because syrius is syrius. he'll be the best version of himself, and youll always be a dumbed down, shittier copy. find your own style (even if that just means mashing together a bunch of styles). I take every single thing that inspires me and just animate with all those influences. that makes you unique and original. i can see every single animation of syrius' that you got an idea from and see it there and its making your quality worse. if you want to animate in his style, thats fine too. but dont copy the things he does. if youre gonna animate in someone elses style, make it unique. youre just copying the things that syrius does and its bad. its making you worse. your quality has gone down from your previous animations.

homeslice, i can literally see bits and pieces of syrius' past animations inside this. there is literally combos and the way he animated inside this animation, almost frame by frame. im not saying you rotoscoped or anything, but its just its obvious how much hes influencing you.

The black stick is animated slightly awkwardly. Great anticipations and reactions to the red stick's attacks, but he's undereased and choppy compared to the red one. Your animation must be constant in all elements. One thing can't be good when another thing in your animation is lacking. It will stick out like a sore thumb next to the well animated elements.
Your animation is only as good as its weakest link lol.
(Yeah I kinda just made that one up.)
