Ah I completely understand. When I started this pic I was like... Oh my gawd... There's so much grass.... What am I gonna do? It worked itself out. Photoshop is always there to save my butt

i had photoshop for like one week a few months back. it was a great time! i was like just amazed by it. i imagine grass would be easier if i practiced it more...or you know had photoshop.

Yeah. I just kinda looked up grass tutorials to get started but I just cheated and edited the grass tool on Photoshop XD Yeah actually having Photoshop is the first step to using it lol. Why did you only have it for a week?

the grass tool/brush was amazing! i was so happy about that. and cuz the computer i had it on died (twas old) and i pirated and it's just way to hard to pirate.

That's awful. I only have mine because I won it in an online contest. You can get them pretty cheap if you get a small one. Your grandma should know that it's definitely worth the money.

wow you must be lucky! i've never won anything like ever in my life. anyway yeah. she sees the art i do with out and it she's just like "why do you need it?" i try to explain to her how hard it is to color and such with just a mouse but she barley understands. but hey! maybe this year i'll get it!

well i don't draw with the mouse that is like impossible but i do color my pictures with it and that is hard as hell! i've often been tempted to chuck the mouse but i haven't yet

I'm proud of me too! it got even harder when i decide to use the laptop cuz laptops don't have mice! well okay i take that back it was only hard at first to use my fingers but i think maybe that was a step in the right direction. anyway i amuse all things would be better with a tablet.

i dont see how pple hate the touch pads so much. my bf can't stand them! i actually like them although for art they are still not the best.

I can't really explain it either. Touch pads are just... unnatural for me. I just have trouble using them mainly because I'm not used to them. I'm on my home computer almost 100% of the time and it either has a regular mouse or my tablet hooked up to it.

for me it was like love at first sight. i touched it and then spazzed with excitement! but pretty much everyone else i know hates them. i can't wait tho until i get a tablet!!! i'll be so happy.

Um I have a Wacom Intuous4. The XL version. The size is pretty inconvenient but it's great once you find a good place to set it up. I think all Wacoms come with some sort of program like Photoshop. I have Photoshop Element 8.0 and Corel Sketchpad.

ok my friends has a wacom and it came with corel sketch although she decided to keep with sai. I'm looking online now for one. i may have enough birthday money to buy my own. which makes me happy!.

Awesome. Yeah I've tried working with Sai... I'm just so used to the layout of Photoshop that it's difficult to switch. Really you can get a fairly decent one without wasting too much money. Best of luck!

i had that same problem but reversed. so that one time i had Photoshop it was super confusing cuz i was use to sai. it took me a week to understand it fully.

Yeah. A lot of art programs can be pretty overwhelming. Like I've been trying to start 3D modeling so I downloaded Blender a few weeks ago and it's so intimidating that I've sorta given up :/
