So yesterday was the dear Chapter Master Alfabusa's birthday, so Nost decided to make him a special birthday cake shaped (and flavored) like one of his favorite things in the world: cactus! And of course, no cactus would be complete without a heaping helping of needles, which Nost just so happened to have on hand...and foot, and various other places...
And yes, Nost is wearing a party hat on the side of her head.
