"We had to flee from the situation, blazing towards the stars as we came out of the nebula."Program used:
Deltian Spaceship: Google SketchUp and rendered in Kerkythea.
Everything else: Photoshop CS5.

Finally I get to see your art again after such a long period without such pure awesomeness. This deviation is one that is definately original and creative. The image itself is spectacular, almost inspiring, with the sunlight shining on the craft as it embarks on its journy toward the heavenly glow. With wonderful details for both the clouds and the ship itself, the most standout feature technique wise is the sun and the engine. Light is one of the most difficult things to replicate, but here you seem to have done so effortlessly. The only criticism I have is that I feel the motion of the craft could have been brought out more, whether with more whisps of the clouds or blurring of the rear edge of the craft. I would like to remind those reading that criticism that I am being extremely, extremely nit picky with that. This artist, make no mistake, is superb, and so is this deviation.
