Today I had a very bad craving to draw; it was one of those days where your mind is brimming with ideas. And I had this drawing in mind before I even drew it, I felt like I really needed to draw this one.
This is Eve Alba pausing to introspectively think in the middle of a fog laden field before she takes off silently into the Timber Woods to pay Ignite visit at his cave/ forge where she use to live as a owlet before she became a Pure One five years ago, before she became a Lieutenant Major and set light to the land. The surroundings in this painting reflect her state of mind and personality. What are her intentions when she meets Ignite?
For this piece I have been inspired by the Artist Edward Hopper.

Very nice work! I love how the mist parts just above the figure--it really draws the eye to her in the field. Otherwise, I think she might have been overlooked at first. It also serves to show her intended direction and gives the whole piece that feeling of someone pausing at the entrance to a long tunnel, deciding on whether to go on or not. In that same area, I noticed that there was a bit of green reflecting in the fog. I wish you had carried that through to the other side of the painting as well. It adds some depth and interest to the picture.

I had this image in my head and dreams for quite some time before I drew it, and it came out more or less the way I wanted it to, which was awesome.
Oh, I think the green you are talking of is the line of trees ahead of Eve, as the fog was too thick in the other parts to be seen, but I did draw trees all along the piece. But next time, I will add more green reflecting, as it could have as reflected off the grass.

Have to say this is one of the most impressive artwork I have seen of yours. Very chilling (the misty atmosphere) but it's very detailed in such a refined way.

Believe it or not her intentions are not 'evil', she would rather just see Ignites face one more time to tell her what had happened. I would imagine it would be a cold meeting, one where Eve seems distant and quite, yet eerie. And I am glad you like it, you caught the atmosphere spot on.
