New Version Available! ([link] )So, after setting aside my original RoaDP picture for a while, I decided to go back and work on it again. Upon taking a second look, I decided that while my idea was good, the execution was poor. Therefore I scrapped much of it and started anew, with better texturing and a nicer Terragen render. I also have added rings, and hopefully my shadow perspective is better. I would appreciate any advice or critique, and I would add that this is a 90% Paint.NET production (Free! [link] ), with the only other percents going to Terragen. Also, keep in mind this is still a WIP!

no doubt, your art is tight plus it looks real. the planet and the foregroud topography is good but i don't buy the halos. all the same, an excellent attempt.

You could work on the stars. Use a Gaussian blur and negation.
