Now Iβll admit, at first the main characterβs design didnβt appeal to me, but the whole animation won me over. This is beautifully put together. The music actually feels like itβs playfully cheering her feast on. The soft little βdundunβ when she walks in feelings just a tiny bit foreboding, too.
βFat Girl Wrecks Restaurantβ being one of the most overused scenarios in the community, I had an idea of what to expect from the ending. Her getting kicked out, or ruining the place. Then I saw the tip. I actually dβawwed.
And while ordinarily I prefer stuffing to emphasise a packed, straining belly over instant weight gain and apparently infinite capacity, this is a definite exception. You got some surprising energy out of a giraffe woman sitting and eating for a minute, and I got the feeling of unabashed gluttony from Kubwa.
This whole thing is beautiful. You and Kubwa should feel proud.

What an inspired choice of music- What great character animation and timing. I liked how, after the cymbal crash, you used the brass chorus as Lady Kubwa's theme, suggesting the awsome increases in her bulk. And the little character touches you gave her- Like pulling up her shoulder strap after her first gorging at the buffet. And her eating in time to the music. And the good humor that runs all through your cartoon. Wonderful stuff! You know what you're doing!

The drawings, the music...everything in this animation compels you to follow the growth of this giraffe in her exhuberant show of hedonism.
I loved especially the scene of the first cake, how the cook seemed fully concentrated on making a perfect design(as any good chef should be)...only to have his creation demolished in a few seconds by the lovely giraffe. Bravo!
