NOTES:DOWNLOAD FOR FULL SPEED PERFORMANCE. It's still playable and smooth on the browser but it is about 1/2 the speed.
THE BOW IS A SOLID OBJECT AND ACTS LIKE ONE.
It CANNOT pass through walls. For crouch areas you MUST aim it downwards or such so it is NOT hitting the ceiling.
Controls: WASD/Arrow keys to move, crouch, and jump.
Aim with the mouse, click to fire an arrow.
Get to the green gradient to go to the next level.
Collect stars for those that like to collect things.
Find hearts to give you temporary extra life.
Every 10 stars collected will give you a starting health bonus.
"Y" to say yes
"N" to say no
When asked to save in a slot you can hit "1" or "2" on the keyboard.

Now v2. All new designed levels to be more straight forward and the first level is easier and more explanatory.
Slightly different ninja graphics, I just made them a bit better.
Some other minor bug fixes and gameplay improvements.

Blue stars are now worth 5 normal stars and don't improve your jump.

I shot the ground and and enemy walked into it a bit later and it killed him. This is easy to fix, make it happen.

Sweet update, it's much better now. Noticed a few bugs with the arrows: Floating arrows when enemies die; I shot an arrow at an enemy and missed, it stuck into the floor, but slid along with the enemies movement. Also, I don't think you should recieve fall damage when landing on the spring. But this is definitely coming along nice

Never mind, I see what you mean now, it bounces you so high that when you land back on the spring it hurts you. That is bad, I'll change that.

Ah! good catches, the arrow thing when they die can be fixed easily I believe. Simply have to remove them when the enemy dies.
Fall damage on the spring I need to think about... I know how I could do it, but it is still a solid object and would hurt to land on from too high...

Well, You could add falling damage, thus making the game more challenging, and, if possible, a target icon instead of mouse cursor. But anyways, it's really good, cheers

There is falling damage but it's near impossible to fall from the height needed to get hurt by it. I'll lower the height on fall damage and make a custom cursor. Don't worry the custom cursor will give back the mouse if you leave the game screen.

So you are saying that if you run out of arrows in real life you'd just magically die? Maybe I'll allow you to kill yourself if you find yourself without arrows and stuck.

I also fell forever. On the left at the up/down platform, fall past it, hit the ground and it teleported me to the other side of the wall where I then kept falling (looping back to the top) until I got so fast I disappeared.
It\'s getting much better, I\'m glad I don\'t have to point the bow down to go through crouch areas anymore

i was near the end, jumped over and just fel... then it brought me to the edge of the level and i fell to the bottom, then looped.
i assume it's due to the collision detection...

Well early in making the game rather than kill you I had it spawn you above the map for testing. I forgot about it and should be fixed now.
As for actually getting out there, yeah it's the hittest.

I don\'t know if this is intentional, but if you fire an arrow at a green wall the arrow disappears so you can\'t climb it.
